Thursday 24th January 2013- The Independent: Jet Ski Accident man gets UK’s First Bionic Limb with £47,000 Life-Like Hand

Having lost his hand in a skiing accident, engineer Christopher Taylor has been the first person in the UK to be fitted with a bionic limb, here in the form of a hand, which responds to muscle signals from his brain, giving the patient another chance at having a normal life.
